Itβs surprising just how much one knot can do β going from being merely a literal way of holding things together to becoming a symbolic one too, especially in the instance of this collection which not only used it as a fasten and a decoration but as the backbone of its theme, from grosgrain-constructed tops to unfurling frenzied prints.
The clothes themselves were texture rich with tassels and lace, quilting and ribbon β all complimented by an equally rich palette of petrol blue, grass green, navy and vermillion. Coats took on strong kimono shapes, highlighted by belted waists β cinched just so with thick striped elastic.
